Three New Characters Coming to Heroes of the Storm - August 19, 2014

Other MOBA’s are receiving their update adding new characters. Blizzard has today responded adding in three new characters into its take of MOBA Heroes of the Storm. They will take the roster up to a new healthy number with players now being able to choose from a myriad of different heroes with their own abilities and attributes.

The new update will unlock the three legendary heroes; Anub’arak, a scarab/arachnid type creature that seems to employ abilities that will break crowds of enemies away from it. While also having the ability to burrow underground for fast moving; great for being on the offensive and defensive. Azmodon: a demon like creature that seems to play like a defensive character that will only go on the attack to use his laser abilities. Just stay out the way gnomes you don’t want a laser to the face. Finally Chen Stormstout, player from World of Warcraft will no doubt recognise him for the Mists of Pandaria expansion. He is an agile character that seems to steam roll through enemies with his barrel abilities. Also included within the update are new battlegrounds that will challenge all players and give them a fresh new way to play with new exciting maps to explore and conquer.

Warframe Trailer Unveiled with Flashy Space Scenes - August 19, 2014

When Warframe launched, it seemed like every other free-to-play game that was just out to get money from microtransactions. From how the game has evolved players could not be further from what they first thought. Today we get a tasty new trailer the highlights what we can expect to get from update 15.

The trailer opens with what looks to be the hull of a ship; nothing new there we have been treated with these kinds of missions since the launch of the game. It then quickly escalates and an on board AI dispatches the Archwing, which seemingly looks to upgrade the Warframe suit, things then turn crazy. And it’s revealed that the Archwing is some sort of space exo-suit that propels your Warframe into space and making them even more of a force to be reckoned with.

No date on when we will be receiving the update but it is sure to add a plethora of new features that will spice up the missions even more.

Venus Highlighted in New Destiny Trailer - August 18, 2014

Last week Bungie treated us to what Mars would look like in the campaign part of Destiny, and fans went mad for it. The game looks stunningly beautiful in so many ways. With that it looked as though Destiny was all shown off and players were mega hyped for it, we were wrong. Today Bungie have released another new trailer; this time putting the spotlight on Venus.

Thanks to interstellar travel players will be able to set foot on Venus, though it doesn’t look like you think. With it being a lush paradise of vegetations it’s the perfect getaway for the weekend, that is if you can purge the planet from every alien nasty that unsurprisingly have a bad taste for humanity.

With Venus being the final planet to be released for the vanilla game player now have a clear look as to what the whole game will be like when traversing the universe saving it from the darkness and bringing life back to the traveller.

Destiny hits September 9 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Flight School Update for Grand Theft Auto 5 Trailer Unveiled - August 18, 2014

Starting tomorrow players will be be able to take to skies when the San Andreas Flight School opens to the public. When the update hits, the massive virtual world online characters will be able to enjoy the thrill of being a patriotic hero or take up the job of a stunt pilot.

The new update will feature a collection new land and air vehicles, aerial solo challenges that will test any avid flyer, and much more. Also included within the update some gameplay changes will be made; these include increased payouts for harder to complete mission and GTA$ bonuses for playing missions with others.

So keep an eye on the sky tomorrow as your friends could be soaring overhead while you are still trying to carjack, no word to whether these updates will be included in the next gen version of GTAV when it launches though be sure to check back here for all the news to come.

Mars Unveiled in Exciting New Destiny Trailer

With less than four weeks until the launch of the highly anticipated Destiny, Bungie is starting to tease the third alien race that players will come across. Bungie is also highlighting what Mars will look like when playing the story mode. Not much has been said about the more bulky aliens but from what we see in this trailer they will pack a punch and bring jet packs to boot. They also seem to be fans of the big explosives so players are going to want to neutralize these enemies very quickly.

The main highlight of the trailer though focuses on Mars, up until now players have only seen a small piece of Mars by playing the limited time Iron Banner maps during the Beta which set players on a small human base on Mars. This new trailer though shows the moor open dust wilds of Mars and how the desert like planet will add new elements to the game.

Destiny launches on September 9 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 and looks to be the blockbuster title for this year and a game that hopes to make it’s mark as a huge game changer.

It’s Madden NFL 15 Season with a New Trailer!

It’s that time of the year again folks, this years installment into the Madden series as it arrives in just 10 days. By the new trailer, you should be excited. The trailer focuses a hilarious parody that should be used by every developer to promote games, as the ridiculousness and bombastic nature will make anyone want the game.

With it’s emphasis on the most ‘Immersive Defensive Gameplay Control’ in the franchises history Madden NFL 15 looks to be the most realistic and more too what people watch on TV when the football season is on. Other new features include the ‘broadcast presentation’ which hasn’t been explained in full, though the name of it is pretty self explanatory.

Just like last year fans can be sure that the game will have it’s improved graphics, running controls, real-time physics and more reactive environments. It’s easy to see why people are going mad for Madden 15 season.

Madden NFL 15 launches on August 26 in North America and August 29 in Europe on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Gamescom 2014: 11 Minutes of Assassin’s Creed Unity Gameplay Unveiled

Ubisoft released a brand new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity, which shows off Arno tackling one of his first assassination missions. Narrated by creative director Alex Amancio, he explains several new key elements coming to this year’s installment, these include the new smoother parkor traversal and mod objectives which are new to the series with Unity.

The gameplay video highlights these new mid objectives and explains how they are “optional objectives” that can change the mission on the fly depending on the ways the player takes, and can provide an extra kill option for the targets. Also in the trailer viewers get to see the stunning city-scape of Paris and some of the tunnels that will open up the verticality even more, since you can go drop below the city to escape sticky situations.

Be sure to keep an eye on Gamescom for even more to come out on Assassin’s Creed Unity as there are bound to be more reveals before the game is released on October 28 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

New Pokémon Mega Evolution Unveiled for Audino - AllThatsEpic - August 14, 2014

Two new Mega Evolution Pokémon were leaked earlier this week, and now we have our first official trailer for Mega Audino that will be available in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Nintendo has explained that “Audino was not known to evolve from, or to, any other form. So this is an interesting twist in the Mega Evolution story.”

Donald Brings the Duck to Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition - AllThatsEpic - August 12, 2014

Last year when Disney Infinity launched, players were excited to finally have a game with all of their classic characters all in one place, unfortunately so far we have only seen Mickey while most others have been from newer franchises such as Wreck-it-Ralph and Frozen.

Today however, things change with Disney Interactive announcing that Donald Duck will be joining the roster of toys-meets-video-game title just in time for the September release of Disney Infinity 2.0.

Gamescom 2014: Destiny Multiplayer Trailer Debuted - AllThatsEpic - August 12, 2014

All eyes were on Sony this morning to see if they would deliver another outstanding press conference showcasing some of the games coming later this year and beyond. During the briefing, Bungie took to the stage to explain some of the timed exclusives that would be coming to PlayStation as well as unveiling the multiplayer trailer. The multiplayer trailer which shows off some of the maps and weapons that players will be able to use in PvP.

Gamescom 2014: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Multiplayer World Premiere - AllThatsEpic - August 11, 2014

Gamescom 2014 has begun and with a bigger bang than it’s US counterpart E3, opening with the multiplayer world premiere for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. As part of its way to reinvent the series, the developers at Sledgehammer games took to the stage to explain everything that would be a game changer to the Call of Duty franchise. This mostly meant everything to do with the Exo suits and how they will be customizable to give players different abilities as well as new ways to attack enemies or go on the defensive.

Dead Island 2 Sunshine and Slaughter Trailer Unveiled - AllThatsEpic - August 11, 2014

After it’s unsuspected and comical entrance earlier this year, Dead Island 2 has returned to the scene with its first gameplay trailer. The trailer contains a whole lot of zombie killing which is exactly what we expected from the developers. The Sunshine & Slaughter trailer shows off some of the new weapons and new variations of killing the players will be able to try their hand at when the game launches in the spring of 2015.

#Killallzombies will be coming to PS4 first, announced via the PlayStation blog today the new third person arena shooter will change the way zombie games are played. The premise for the game is very interesting, having civilians being thrust into an arena and given the task to survive against hordes of zombies for the spectators pleasure. The unique aspect of the game will be the ability to affect other players game by interacting through the PlayStation 4 or Twitch streams, making the premise of the game very real.

Diablo III Updates on Xbox One Upgrades to 1080p - AllThatsEpic - August 7, 2014

When Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition was announced, it was revealed that the Xbox One version would be running at 900p instead of 1080p unlike the PS4 counterpart. Good news today as Xbox One players will be able to play in 1080p with a day one patch. “The game will be available in 1080p on both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One,” a Blizzard rep stated.

Free-to-Play Counter Strike has Zombies - AllThatsEpic - August 7, 2014

Later this year, Counter Strike Nexon: Zombies, a free to play game developed in collaboration with Valve will be released. The new zombie style game will change the way zombie games are played, though will feature traditional Counter Strike modes such as Hostage Rescue and Bomb Diffusion, the zombie mode introduces new weapons and diverse game modes.

The Sims 4 Least Interesting Man Revealed - AllThatsEpic - August 5, 2014

The Sims has always been about creating wacky lives for interesting characters, all the while putting them in weird and comical situations. We have the moms, the kids, the partiers, and more included in the game. Sadly, there will not be toddlers right off the get-go, but that’s okay. Entertaining stories are what the game runs on and how unique personalities are carved. Though with a new trailer released, the weird and wacky gets thrown out of the window as this new type of character revealed lacks everything that makes The Sims 4 what it is.

Zelda Themed Monopoly Has GameStop Pre-Order Exclusives - AllThatsEpic - August 4, 2014

We’ve known for some time that GameStop would be getting some exclusive content for the Zelda Monopoly but up until we didn’t know what players would be getting. As players take a trip through Hyrule, they will be able to play as a number of different tokens that look like items from the Zelda gaming series. GameStop exclusive pre-orders will gain access to playing as the Ocarina of Time. When Monopoly players are not playing, players will be able to store the board in an exclusive Custom Square Box which is also an exclusive pre-order.

World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor Release Date Coming Soon - AllThatsEpic - August 4, 2014

Just recently, the alpha test for Warlords of Draenor took place, and players have found it to be as fun as ever. No Man’s Sky is no longer a PS4 exclusive, the procedurally generated exploration title coming for developer Hello Games was first revealed at the VGX back in December is now coming to PC as well. The game made a huge mark this year while it was shown at the Sony press conference at E3 it revealed it’s true colors to sci-fi fans all over the world, and it looks to be an amazing game.

The game looks stunning and it’s hard to believe and get your head around how big the game actually is especially when it’s only in development from a nine person team.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Nemesis DLC Pack Preview - AllThatsEpic - July 31, 2014

Activision has just released a teaser trailer for Nemesis, the fourth and final DLC expansion for 2013′s Call of Duty: Ghosts.
